Enschede – The number of corona infections in Twente is increasing. In order to protect patients and visitors as well as possible against the corona virus, MST is tightening the visitor regulations with immediate effect. The advice is not to visit patients in MST. If there is no other option, a maximum of one visitor per patient is allowed for a maximum of one hour per day.
This measure can be drastic. Of course people want to see their family member or loved one. Only by limiting contact as much as possible can the 1.5 meter distance be preserved as much as possible and patients receive the care they need. In many cases it is of course also possible to make telephone calls or video calls.
MST will also start screening people at the gate (in the tent) as soon as possible. More information can be found at mst.nl/corona
