MSI GT77 is a gaming notebook with 4K 120Hz display and four SSDs

MSI announced, this Wednesday (1), the launch of a new powerful gaming notebook: the Titan GT77. The laptop has a 4K resolution screen, uses a 330 watt input source and can be configured with up to 128 GB of RAM and GeForce RTX 3080 Ti graphics, along with RGB lighting and all this comes at a high price.

The gaming notebook market does not show any signs of saturation, quite the opposite. Among the companies that bet their chips on this type of player is the Chinese MSI and it invited the press to show a series of products, including one for this niche.

The Titan GT77 basically has the best a gamer can expect from a gaming-focused computer, but one that can be closed-displayed and easily transported elsewhere. This means the presence of configurations that arrive on a 12th generation Intel Core i9 processor, RTX 3080 Ti GPU, four spaces for RAM and support for up to 128 GB in DDR5, along with another four slots for SSD storage, all on the M.2 format.

MSI GT77 has four coolers

With the heat expected for such performance, the MSI Titan GT77 delivers four fans and a seven-duct system to transfer heat to the six air vents. I keep imagining the noise made by so many coolers turned on at the same time.

The screen can have 4K resolution at 120Hz and the physical connections allow the use of other displays, connected via Thunderbolt 4 port, mini-Display Port or HDMI. The battery has 99.9 Whr and this is the limit for the product to be able to get on an airplane if it needs to be transported by air.

The entire computer has RGB lighting by LEDs and the keyboard is mechanical. The price, as expected, is far from low. The cost to take this notebook in its entry version, which has an Intel Core i7, RTX 3070 Ti GPU and 32 GB of RAM, with 1 TB in SSD, starts at US$ 3,199.

To take the notebook with all the configuration listed in the paragraphs above, you need to put US$ 4,949 (almost R$ 24,000) at the time of purchase. Sales have already started in the international market, but still in advance.
