MSI is about to launch a new handheld console called CLAW. According to VIDEOCARDZ, the CLAW gaming handheld console will be officially released at the CES 2024 conference. MSI’s Mainland China e-commerce platform has revealed the appearance of the handheld machine, showing its design and features.

It is reported that the hardware configuration of the CLAW handheld console is quite powerful and will be equipped with Intel’s latest Core Ultra 7 155H processor, which is a high-performance CPU designed to meet the needs of mobile games and high-performance computing, and is equipped with Arc Graphics GPU. In addition, the machine is also equipped with 32GB LPDDR5X memory. The appearance design of the handheld machine includes two joystick positions; the heat dissipation design on the back of the device, and the MSI Dragon Shield logo.
The layout of the CLAW handheld console is basically the same as that of similar products on the market, including two left and right joysticks, an RGB ring on the edge, a direction key on the left and four buttons on the right. The screen ratio is estimated to be 16:10, and there are some small function buttons on the edge. Functionally, the CLAW handheld console is the same as the ASUS ROG Ally handheld console. It uses the Windows 11 operating system and supports stores such as Steam and EGS. The hardware specifications of the CLAW handheld machine have appeared in the Geekbench benchmark test. Unlike the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor used in the ROG Ally handheld machine, the CLAW handheld machine has chosen the more powerful Intel Core Ultra 7 155H, with 6P+8E+2LPE. It has 16 cores and 22 threads, with a maximum core frequency of 4.8GHz. It integrates 8 Xe core Arc Graphics graphics cards and runs at a frequency of 2.25GHz.
