“MSC Cruises Launches New Year-Round Sailings from New York to the Bahamas”

There is now a new way to sail from New York to the islands of the Bahamas, as MSC Cruises has launched new sailings from
Brooklyn cruise terminal in New York to the Bahamas, reports Caribbean Journal.

This means the line will now operate year-round cruises to the Bahamas from this homeport.

aAccording to Caribbean Journal, MSC Meraviglia will offer seven- and 11-night cruises that include both Nassau and MSC’s private destination in the Bahamas, Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve.

In August, MSC will also offer five- and six-night sailings from New York, this time to Bermuda.

“We are thrilled to offer guests from the Northeast a direct link to our private destination – Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve – which is part of our fantastic Bahamas itineraries,” said Rubén Rodríguez, President of MSC Cruises USA.

The 316 meter long and 65 meter high vessel has 19 decks and can carry up to 5,700 guests.

Among the amenities it offers are:

• 10 types of cabins
• 20 bars
• 12 restaurants
• indoor and outdoor swimming pools
• a Broadway-style theater featuring seven different shows
