‘MS wants to release Xbox Cloud Gaming streaming stick for TVs within a year’ – Gaming – News

I think Sony has already made it very clear that what MS does, they don’t want to do.

The difference between these 2 companies is that one clearly has a thicker piggy bank hanging on a spit. Nintendo is not participating in this competition either, clearly has little/no interest in it and Sony is now simply merging PS Now with PS+

Currently, MS generously allows you to get Game Pass Ultimate in various ways, let’s call it cheap. I’m just guessing that the people who stacked Gold to Ultimate for 1 to 13 euros are secretly quite a lot. As a publisher you are not going to keep that up forever.

I therefore also think that these 2 brands will soon be on an equal level with regard to what a subscription will offer. As a gamer you would hope that there are different games in the different subscriptions so that you can play a lot for ‘little’.

It has nothing to do with not taking their product seriously, Sony just plainly chooses that they want to make money and MS can be financially much better off putting a product on the market even at a loss – look at Amazon’s tactics – Now the most important thing: I don’t see what a game community would do with a Sony/MS/Nintendo disappearing under water. In the end I don’t think anything good if you look purely at the final price.
Nintendo isn’t even really hardcore participating in such an all you can eat game netflix subscription and Sony is at most soaking up the water next month, because not much has changed in terms of content except that you will pay a little more if you choose the most expensive subscription. Although you will probably be able to bring that back to the old level through various promotions/discounts at the retailers.
