Björn Borg will publish his memoirs in 2025.
The autobiography will be written by Mrs. Patricia Borg.
– This is something that many have waited a long time for, says publisher Gunilla Bergmark.
For the first time, Björn Borg will talk about “his career, his decisions and the experiences that shaped him as a person”.
The author is Patricia Borg, who has been married to Björn Borg since 2002.
– It is an honorable mission that Björn has entrusted to me, says Patricia Borg.
“Never before have told”
The now 67-year-old tennis legend is known for, among other things, five consecutive Wimbledon titles, six French Open titles and having been world number one for 108 weeks in the years 1979 to 1981.
– I know I’m not alone in wanting to know everything about what Björn Borg has never told before, about his career, his life, his ups and downs, says Linda Altrov Berg, literary agent for Norstedt’s proposal.
In 1982, Björn Borg decided to end his tennis career at only 26 years of age.
Björn Borg and Patricia Borg have a 20-year-old son and tennis player Leo Borg together.
