Washing the toilet is not one of the most popular household chores. However, according to Tombola’s survey, cleaning the oven, ironing, etc. it is not at the top of the list of the most hated household chores.
Usual cleaning procedure
Cleaning the toilet is facilitated by a wide selection of cleaning products. It is recommended to apply the product to the entire toilet before cleaning. First, use a sprayer to spray the outside of the toilet, including the toilet seat and tank. Then pour the cleaner into the toilet and don’t forget to apply it under the rim of the toilet bowl, where dirt and bacteria often settle. The product is usually left on for at least 30 minutes. If you let the cleaner work, the next cleaning will be much easier. Deposits will be washed off faster and the toilet will be properly disinfected.
Get your gloves ready and you’re good to go. You can use a microfiber cloth or paper towels for cleaning.
First, wash the handle, the rinse tank and the outside of the cup. Use a clean cloth on the seat. Then move on to cleaning the toilet with a toilet brush and don’t forget to clean under the rim as well.
Finally, disinfect the toilet brush and its holder, where a large amount of dirt is also deposited. Spray the cleaner also into the brush holder and scrub and wash with clean water.
This procedure takes longer, so below we will recommend how to clean the toilet in 3 minutes.
