MRI KO at Ruggi in Salerno, a hope after a month

Broken machine and blocked reservations, performing a prostate MRI at the Ruggi hospital in Salerno has become an odyssey. It certainly has become one for a patient in the Radiotherapy department who was supposed to undergo an investigation, urgently prescribed by the operating unit on June 4, at the Prostate MRI clinic located on floor 0 of the AB pavilion of the facility in via San Leonardo. After the prescription for the test was made in early June, the first available date set for the investigation was last July 4. Time passed between various phone calls, reservations and postponed dates. Yesterday afternoon the patient was finally contacted by the hospital, he will have to go to the clinic next week, hoping this time it will be the right one. The date of the test this time is scheduled for August 22. Postponements due to waiting for a “spare part” of the MRI arriving from Germany. The user can only cross their fingers. He turned to our newspaper to personally tell the ordeal he has been forced to live since the beginning of July. Not even the two emails sent to the administrative offices of the Company in via San Leonardo, directed by the general manager Vincenzo D’Amato, were of any use, he reiterated, and to which no response was given.
