Bulgaria will be fined BGN 360 million by the European Commission for having additionally supported the photovoltaics, MRF MP Ramadan Atalay said in an interview with Nova TV.
“The MRF has introduced a bill that allows BGN 3 billion to be collected by photovoltaics. “After the preferential price, the money that the photovoltaics receive can be returned to the Energy Security Fund to help people,” he explained.
In recent days, the authorities have announced that they plan to cover the roof with 25 cents per liter from the price of the first 50 liters when charging a car. According to Atalay, however, the government’s anti-crisis measures have been delayed.
There is still no mechanism for how the cabinet will return to the gas stations those 25 cents per liter, which it promises to help the citizens. There are already gas stations that say they will not give the discount in advance and wait for the government to return their money, Ramadan Atalay revealed.
“What have the rulers been waiting for so far? “Someone should come and tell them if there is a price increase,” he asked.
According to him, the government should have made a contingency plan by reviewing fuels in the state reserve, what are the possibilities for fuel supply, is it possible for Lukoil Neftochim to process oil other than Russian. Lukoil asked to know what oil could be delivered to say if they could process it.
According to him, the government should have wanted our country to be an exception to the European rule (derogation) for the oil embargo rather.
Atalay explained the situation with Bulgargaz and the payment of gas in rubles: Bulgargaz received a letter that they had to transfer money to Gazprom’s account. Then the ruble is turned to, so Bulgaria loses nothing. Only our rulers did not find the strength and opportunities to enter into dialogue. That’s why I told them yesterday that it was time to leave. “
The MRF MP criticizes the government for not explaining what alternative quantities of natural gas and oil they have agreed on, how they will be delivered to Bulgaria and what the prices are.
Atalay compared the agreement of Prime Minister Kiril Petkov for the supply of liquefied American gas at a reduced price with the purchase of two slices of bread. Why is this gas not from Algeria, from Qatar, why is it not a common European supply, Ramadan Atalay asked. He demanded that the Bulgarian government comply with Russia’s request and pay Gazprom in rubles.
Atalai was adamant that liquefied gas could not be cheaper than that supplied through pipes.
Ramadan Atalay allowed early elections and the formation of a new governing coalition: “The MRF always supports the ruling formations when it comes to internal order and security.”
