“There is no investigation going on,” Drake Madison of the Los Angeles Police Department said Deadline Thursday afternoon.
It was Hollywood Reporter who on the same day brought a comprehensive case where the two women who do not appear by name, tell about the events in 2005 and 2014 and describe it as sexual abuse that happened without consent.
The industry magazine has also talked to people around them. Both approached the Hollywood Reporter separately to share their stories, which have been triggered by all the media coverage of the new HBO Max series “And Just Like That” – in which Noth is in the first episode.
The woman named Zoe is said to have been in contact with the police in Los Angeles, but according to Deadline’s sources has not submitted a formal report against Chris Noth. Therefore, no investigation has been launched, either Los Angeles Times writes.
Chris Noth’s lawyers tell Deadline that they will cooperate fully if that happens. Noth completely denies the allegations about the alleged abuses, and says in a statement:
– These accusations against me, made by people I met years, decades, ago, are completely wrong.
Noth further claims that there was consent in both cases, and says:
– It is difficult not to ask questions at the time these stories emerge. I’m not sure why they’re showing up now, but I know one thing: I did not abuse these women.
