On August 23, the Municipal Transport Company in Stargard opened bids in the tender for the delivery and installation of two dynamic passenger information boards.
Two bids were submitted in the procedure. Interestingly, the prices of the submitted bids are slightly lower than in a similar tender almost two years ago.

Subject of the order
The order includes the delivery, installation, commissioning and configuration of 2 electronic passenger information boards (LED boards, 6-line, double-sided), including:
- delivery and assembly of support poles for electronic passenger information boards,
- carrying out all other necessary works, including integration of the boards with the existing dynamic passenger information system implemented by OPERIBUS,
- performing all necessary tests, examinations, checks and start-ups,
- warranty service of the device,
- training of ordering personnel in the correct use of boards.
The boards are to be installed:
- at the stop – Czarnieckiego – St. John Paul II Square,
- on the Moniuszko loop.
The boards supplied are to be double-sided, 6-line – with the last bottom line enabling the display of a special message. They will be made based on three-structure RGB diodes (with the ability to change the colours of both rows and columns). The boards must be equipped with an external light intensity sensor, which automatically adjusts the brightness of the diodes depending on the weather conditions and time of day. Information on the boards will be presented in three columns: “line”, “direction”, “departure”. Information on the name of the stop and column headings must be illuminated. A clock will be placed in the upper right corner of the boards (on a separate LED matrix). The boards must be equipped with a voice announcement synthesizer module, activated by a button placed on the support pole.

Two offers
On August 23, MPK opened offers from two companies interested in supplying SDIP boards. They come from:
- Dysten sp. z o. o. – price PLN 155,595.00 gross,
- MPTechnology sp. z o. o. – price PLN 157,932.00 gross.
The ordering party wants to allocate PLN 184,500.00 to finance the boards. Therefore, both offers are within this amount. Dysten’s offer is slightly cheaper. Interestingly, almost 2 years ago, in a similar tender for two SDIP boards, only Dysten submitted its offer. At that time, its price offer amounted to PLN 158,793.00 gross. After two years, the SDIP board market has not been affected by inflation. Prices have not budged, and are actually slightly lower. The constantly growing competition on this market undoubtedly has an impact on the above. There are more and more entities that offer solutions in the field of dynamic passenger information for cities.
