Bhopal. The second round of monsoon rains, which started in Madhya Pradesh for the last few days, is now showing its effect in the entire state. According to the Meteorological Department, the period of heavy rain will continue for the next two days. Due to this the weather will remain pleasant. Along with this, forecast of very heavy rain has also been expressed in Sheopur district today. It can rain from 4 to 8 inches here. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rains in more than 20 districts of the state. More than 2.5 inches of rain is expected in many districts.

The period of continuous rain is going on in Madhya Pradesh. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for heavy rains in several districts including Vidisha, Rajgarh, Khandwa, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Guna, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri and Sheopur. More than 70 mm of rain has been recorded in Gwalior in the last 24 hours. Bargi dam is about to overflow due to heavy rains in Jabalpur. While crossing the report in Sheopur, a young man was swept away along with the bike.

Heavy rains in Gwalior-Jabalpur
Heavy rains were seen in Gwalior and Jabalpur on Monday evening. Gwalior received 70 mm of rain in the last 24 hours, while 272 mm of rain has been recorded there so far. On the other hand, orange alert of rain continues in Gwalior-Chambal region today. There is a possibility of heavy rains in Shivpuri, Morena and Sheopur in the next 24 hours. The water level of Bargi dam in Jabalpur has reached 416.90 metres, due to which dam gates can be opened anytime. Residents of the coastal areas of Narmada have been alerted regarding this.

Alert issued for these districts
The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rains for more than 20 districts of the state. In these, a yellow alert of heavy rain has been issued for the surrounding districts including Vidisha, Rajgarh, Khandwa, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Guna, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri and Sheopur. Along with this, the possibility of heavy rain has also been expressed in Bhopal, Narmadapuram, Ujjain, Gwalior-Chambal, Shahdol divisions. According to meteorologists, there is no possibility of getting relief from rain in the state for the next few days.

Young man shed on report in Sheopur
Heavy rains have been recorded in Sheopur district in the last 24 hours. While crossing the ramp built on the river near Manpura police station area, a young man was swept away in the strong current. The local people pulled the young man out with the help of a rope. Due to the possibility of extremely heavy rains in Sheopur district, it may rain from 4 to 8 inches.
