MP cites TSE employee who died in 2022

Just as the Public Ministry (MP) stated in the Semilla case that there were at least 12 deaths who were affiliated with said political group. The same MP fell into his own trap by calling an employee of the Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE) who died in 2022.

The MP’s Administrative Crimes Prosecutor’s Office delivered three letters to summon two electoral auditors and the head of Purchasing of the TSE, so that they could appear as witnesses. These are the electoral auditors, José Emilio Liques Arévalo and Óscar René Ortiz López, as well as the head of the Purchasing Department, José Rodolfo Godínez, who has already been deceased for a year.

According to the official documents, the summons is in relation to the purchase of the Preliminary Electoral Results Transmission (TREP) system, as well as the hiring of the company Datasys SA, as a provider of the program. The letter indicated that if they did not arrive they would be taken away by the public force.

The MP published another video on his TikTok account in which he presents a fragment of the meeting he held a few weeks ago with the secretary general of the Organization of American States (OAS), Luis Almagro. On this occasion, the head of the Administrative Crimes Prosecutor’s Office, Edwin Marroquín, spoke about the complaint that they have under investigation and that is related to the acquisition of the TREP.

TREP audit

Separately, Tecnológico de Monterrey presented the results of the audit to the TREP, where it concluded that there were no findings or violations, after subjecting the system to stress tests, as well as attack simulations to test the security of the platform.

While Luis Gerardo Ramírez, spokesperson for the TSE, announced that the rescheduling of the appointment was requested and they notified the Administrative Crimes Prosecutor’s Office.
