The Austrian Restaurant Week is celebrating its 15th anniversary and the Mozarthaus Vienna is celebrating as part of a cooperation.
From September 2nd to 8th, 2024, the 29th Restaurant Week invites gourmets on a special, international culinary journey under the motto “Fine dining at amazing prices”.
Wolfgang Amadé Mozart himself visited restaurants of various kinds, not only to eat but also to entertain himself, as shown in this year’s special exhibition “Mozart at the Table”, which runs until March 16, 2025. One section of the special exhibition is devoted to the topic “Mozart in the Restaurant and Tavern”, because Wolfgang Amadé Mozart regularly visited taverns and restaurants of various kinds, not only to eat and drink but also to entertain himself, play and compose.
Cooperation between Mozarthaus Vienna and Culinarius
The Mozarthaus Vienna, a museum of the Wien Holding, has therefore entered into a cooperation with Culinarius – the organizer of the Austrian Restaurant Week. Visit one of over 100 top restaurants at this year’s edition of the Restaurant Week and enjoy traditional Austrian dishes, international specialties and innovative creations from upscale gastronomy. Eating as a cultural and social experience, as Mozart already reported in his letters.
