Jakarta –
West Ham Manager, David Moyes, love the ego Cristiano Ronaldo. This is what all major teams need.
Ronaldo – who returned to the starting line-up at Brentford Community Stadium after two games out with a hip problem – was replaced by Harry Maguire in the 71st minute and Manchester United were 2-0 up.
The former Real Madrid and Juventus player was not happy with manager Ralf Rangnick’s decision. Some of the footage shows Ronaldo’s disappointed face and there are also discussions with the manager.
Rangnick has put the problem under control. He thinks it’s not uncommon for any player to want to stay on the pitch and get goals for himself.
Moyes took part in responding to the situation ahead of the Manchester United vs West Ham duel at Old Trafford, Saturday (22/1/2022) night WIB. The former Red Devils tactician was even happy.
“You can have a big ego and not be too stubborn. Are you talking about the best player in the world? He is phenomenal, he can do what he has done,” Moyes was quoted as saying by the Manchester Evening.
“For me the biggest thing about Ronaldo is his hunger to play and his hunger not to give up. For a manager, he has to be a great player.”
“He has a level of commitment, preparation, dedication to the game and himself that will always give him the opportunity to be effective. At big clubs you will always get players with egos.”
