Per-Roar Gjerde (53) quits as chief operating officer for Mowi’s fish farming operations in America and the Faroe Islands, according to a stock exchange statement.
He resigned on Tuesday.
Mowi has started the process of finding a replacement for the Fence. He will remain in his position until a successor is in place, or until 31 December, it is stated.
Gjerde has previously served as director of Mowi’s fish farming operations in Norway and Chile. Prior to that, he led Mowi’s Chilean business and region west of Norway.
