ShowbizThis morning Niels Destadsbader (32) and Miguel Wiels (48) were in the tour bus with Sven & Anke from JOE. They stopped in Meulebeke, where the singer performed for the sisters Eléonore (11) and Célestine (7), who had to say goodbye to their mother in February.

It was Liesbeth, Eléonore and Célestine’s aunt, who requested the concert. The girls’ mom, Anneleen, died of cancer in February. “Know that I am very proud of you”, Liesbeth told her nieces. “Despite all the sorrow and misery you are so positive about your life. Your mama lives on in you.” Because not only mommy Anneleen but also the sisters are fans of Niels, JOE’s tour bus stopped at the girls’ school for an exclusive performance.

“How was your mama?”, Niels wanted to know. To that Eléonore replied: “Mama was sometimes angry with us, but she was also very sweet and concerned. She had a very positive attitude towards life. She was sometimes a bit more negative, but she was always the sunshine in the house and happy. ” And she added: “I would like to tell her I miss her very much and I would like to give her another hug.”

Niels turned out to be impressed. “I think this I do not know how cool. I am glad that we were able to do something special with something so small. ”

The singer also revealed that he has a new nephew: Odard, the brother of his godchild Georges. “Normally I went to visit for the first time tomorrow”, he explained. “I probably won’t be allowed to hold it myself, just look.” Although Niels thought about bringing his visit forward a bit: “If you see what’s in the papers, maybe I should go today.”
