On the 28th, PlusM Entertainment, the distributor of the movie ‘Cross,’ told Edaily, “It is true that we have postponed the release of the movie ‘Cross,’” and added, “It has not yet been decided when it will be postponed.”
‘Cross’ tells the story of former agent ‘Kang Moo’ (played by Hwang Jung-min), who lives as a veteran housewife while hiding his past from his wife, and ‘Mi-seon’ (played by Yeom Jeong-ah), an ace of the violent crime investigation team who misunderstands her husband’s secret, and gets caught up in a huge incident together. It is a green entertainment action movie.
Actor Hwang Jung-min, whose ‘Spring in Seoul’ surpassed 10 million viewers, and Yeom Jeong-ah, the star of the summer’s highest-grossing film ‘Smugglers,’ collaborated for the first time, drawing attention. In addition, Jeon Hye-jin, the wife of the late Lee Sun-gyun, who passed away on the 27th, also appears in this movie. Jeon Hye-jin plays the role of ‘Hee-ju’, a junior agent who asks her old colleague ‘Kang-mu’ for help in her undercover investigation that started with a disappearance case.
It was originally confirmed to be released during the Lunar New Year holiday in February, but it was postponed. However, PlusM did not disclose the reason for delaying the release.
By the morning of the 28th, at Lee Sun-kyun’s funeral, actors and entertainment industry officials who had paid their respects since the previous day, as well as director Bong Joon-ho, actor Moon Geun-young, and broadcaster Shin Dong-yeop, paid their respects early in the morning and paid their respects to the deceased.
