Lifetime has announced a third movie about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, writes Variety Wednesday. In Harry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace discusses the couple’s break with the British royal family.
The film will be the sequel to Harry & Meghan from 2018, which focused on the romance between the two, and Harry & Meghan: Becoming Royal from 2019. It looked at life in the royal family in the first year of the marriage of Prince Harry and Markle.
It is not yet known which actors will be in Escaping the Palace will be on display. In the first two films, the main roles were played by different actors. The shooting should start in the spring and the film is supposed to be released in the fall.
Harry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace promises to tell exactly what happened in the royal palace and what led to Harry and Markle leaving everything behind and packing their bags. The couple recently told their story to Oprah Winfrey.
Markle said, among other things, that ‘concerns’ were expressed about the skin color of their then unborn son Archie. She also talked about the suicidal thoughts she had during her pregnancy, saying that no help was offered to her from the royal family. Prince Harry was candid about the troubled relationship with his brother and father since the couple left for the United States.
