Al-Adam played a very modest match against Ecuador in the opening of the Qatar 2022 World Cup
The modest appearance of the Qatar national team at the opening of the 2022 Qatar World Cup prompted the Arab masses to come out to support them and urged them to wake up like other Arab teams.
Al-Adam opened the World Cup against Ecuador, but lost at home and among his fans with a clean brace, while putting in a very modest performance that frustrated his fans.
On the other hand, the rest of the Arab teams delighted their fans: Saudi Arabia won 2-0 against Argentina, while Tunisia drew 0-0 against Denmark, and with the same result Morocco draw against Croatia. Runner-up at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
These successes prompted the Arab masses in Qatar to come out in what appeared to be a demonstration, urging Al-Annabi to catch up with international Arab successes, in a video released by the Saudi newspaper Al-Riyadiah.
The Qatar national team will play its second World Cup match tomorrow, Friday, when it will meet the Senegalese national team at four in the afternoon, at the Al-Thumama Stadium, in the first group games.
