Movement restrictions and curfew. Lockdown in France

Lockdown in parts of France from Friday. Restrictions will be introduced in 16 of the country’s 101 departments. The epidemic is accelerating, announced French Prime Minister Jean Castex. The head of government also announced that vaccinations with AstraZeneca will be resumed in the country.

As he reported, in 16 departments, including Paris and the Ile-de-France region of Paris, from Friday from midnight the lockdown will be in effect for four weeks.

Shops with products that are not essential to life will be closed. Residents of closed departments will be able to leave the house for a distance of 10 km and will not be allowed to move between departments except in exceptional circumstances and for professional purposes.

There will be no time limit to enter from your home for walking or playing sports, but will require certification, which can be downloaded from government websites. However, schools will remain open, and high schools will operate in a hybrid system.

On the other hand, physical education and sports activities will be resumed during the school’s opening hours, and after-school outdoor sports activities for minors will be held.

The head of government recommended remote work at least four days a week to all those employees and workplaces that may operate in this mode.

The AstraZeneca vaccination campaign may resume Friday afternoon – Castex also reported. AstraZeneki vaccines are administered in France to people aged 50 to 74 with risk factors and over 75 years of age.

Although Castex does not meet these criteria, it informed that it will be vaccinated with this preparation next Friday to convince the French to take this vaccine.

The prime minister also announced that the curfew from 18 to 6 am will apply from Saturday from 19 due to the approaching spring and the “extension of the day”.
