Movement of Free Alawite Officers: Overthrowing Assad and Creating Equal Opportunities in Syria

In Qardah, the ancestral village of the Assad family, 3 deserter officers of the Syrian army founded the “Movement of Free Alawite Officers”. This is reported by “Voice of the Arabs».

The movement became part of the Syrian army opposition organization “Syrian Military Council” headed by General Manaf Tlasformer childhood friend Bashar al-Assad.

The goals they set for themselves are: the overthrow of Bashar al-Assad; the withdrawal of all foreign troops from Syria, including Iranian ones; punishment of war criminals; creation of a state of equal opportunities for all Syrians, regardless of nationality and religion.

As the Voice of the Arabs points out:

“However, it is unlikely that the Alawites will massively support this movement, they are already a privileged layer of the Syrian society, the Alawite community is unlikely to take risks.”

In the same time:

“… the factors for destabilizing the precarious situation in the Arab Republic are growing – sanctions pressure from the West, rising inflation, the fuel and energy crisis. The West, although it failed in its plan to eliminate Assad, is still satisfied with the destroyed and fragmented Syria in the status quo.

Recall that Bashar al-Assad and his family are also of the Alawite faith.
