The Charlotte Hornets, eighth in the Eastern Conference, put in a good performance, beating the Indiana Pacers (103-83), ranked third, on Friday in the NBA regular season. Moussa Diabaté, the French strong winger of the “Frelons” made his contribution to the victory. Although he did not score any points (0/1 shooting), he did however take 15 rebounds and also signed three blocks. All in 29 minutes of play. Tidjane Salaün scored two points and grabbed seven rebounds in 21 minutes.
Guerschon Yabusele showed up with the Philadelphia Sixers (14 pts and five rebounds) but could not prevent his team’s defeat – the fifth in a row – at the Los Angeles Lakers (116-106). Bilal Coulibaly scored 10 points with the Washington Wizards, heavily beaten in Memphis (124-108). Alexandre Sarr, who also plays for the US capital franchise, scored eight (plus five rebounds and as many assists).
Fifteen rebounds for Gobert (Minnesota), Risacher more discreet
No double-double for Rudy Gobert (eight points, 15 rebounds) with the Minnesota Timberwolves, winners of Portland (127-102). For the Trail Blazers, Rayan Rupert was satisfied with seven minutes of playing time and three points. Two days after his performance (33 points), Zacharie Risacher was more discreet with the Atlanta Hawks, narrowly beaten by Detroit (122-121). The Frenchman scored seven points and grabbed five rebounds.
Four rebounds and zero points for Nicolas Batum during the Los Angeles Clippers’ victory over the Sacramento Kings (107-98). Low playing time and no points scored either for Ousmane Dieng (six minutes) while Oklahoma City dominated Houston (126-107), as well as for Pacôme Dadiet (five minutes) during the New York Knicks’ success over Milwaukee ( 116-94).
