Mouss and Hakim (ex-Zebda) drop their shirts to sing Nougaro

After their visit to the island in 2010 to promote Origines Contrôlées and in 2014 with the Zebda group. Mouss and Hakim return to perform in the large port hall.

After 35 years of career, the writing of Claude Nougaro rekindles the flame of the duo, through their latest album Darons de la Garonne.
Composed during the confinement period, a text has a special place. About thirty years ago Bottes de Banlieues, was personally transmitted by the singer of variety, All three natives of the Minimes district in Toulouse, the accent of the pink city to help the group to compose the melody of this last disc, “just by reading the texts, we were already singing them”. The friendly atmosphere between the artists and the poet’s family played on the purpose of the album. Even if musicality came naturally, the singers took the time to appropriate each text to be able to pay homage to it.
The two brothers felt the demands of the French singer’s pen. “We had the pressure not to imitate him”, Through Saturday’s show entitled “From Zebda to Darons de la Garonne”, the artists will tell their journey.
