Davis’ talent and physical abilities were noticed very early in the United States. After his university years at Illinois, he entered the NFL in the first round of the draft in 2009, where he played in a total of 121 games until his retirement in 2018. He had stints with the Miami Dolphins and Indianapolis Colts, and would have spent his final season with the Buffalo Bills, but in September, before a home game against the Los Angeles Chargers, he walked into the locker room and practically retired on the spot.
