Mourning for Klaus-Dieter Vöhringer | Mercedes-Benz Group

Klaus-Dieter Vöhringer spent his entire professional career in our company. In 1990 he was appointed as a deputy member of the board. From 1997 until his retirement on 31 December 2002, he was on the board responsible for research and technology.

With his entrepreneurial vision, Klaus-Dieter Vöhringer has won great recognition and respect in our company, especially for his vision of accident-free driving, alternative drivers and renewable energy, and it has established a new dynamic.

With the death of Klaus-Dieter Vöhringer, Mercedes-Benz has lost a great personality. We will remember him with gratitude. Our sympathy and condolences go out to his family and loved ones in these difficult times.
