Today is my late ex-wife Lin Shuru’s 72nd birthday. Even though the weather on the mountain is below 10 degrees, I brought my children and grandchildren! Remembering the old makes my heart ache, but I think Shuru should be very happy. Today, our whole family is together!
Every year I come to talk to Shuru, and this year, in addition to sharing with her that the National Taiwan University Cancer Clinic has finally been completed after more than ten years, the Yongling Foundation has also formally entered into deep cooperation with Germany’s BNT to set up a mRNA cancer immunotherapy clinical trial center! The journey to fight cancer is so long but now I am more hopeful. Even though Shuru is gone, she also has to hope that I can turn a little love into a big love, but there are too many things that it’s too late to say and apologize!
In 2005 cancer took my first wife, in 2007 cancer took my little brother. During those few years, I devoted nearly all of my energy to fighting cancer, and ended up being separated forever. I carried the remains of my first wife and younger brother into the coffin with my own hands. a piece of my heart has been with them For… the lover and family who cannot be saved, this indelible pain has been sealed in the deepest part of my heart.
But there is always a voice in my heart asking me not to be discouraged, maybe it’s Shuru, maybe it’s Taicheng, this little painful love is at the forefront of the fight against cancer, I will definitely do more!
