The “Special” team could be left out of the Champions League qualifying phase
Fenerbahce (Turkey), coached by Jose Mourinho, lost 2:1 to Lille (France) in the first match of the third preliminary round of the UEFA Champions League. The match was played in France, at the Hainaut Stadium, France.
Jose Mourinho will complete the job of leading Fenerbahce to the Champions League stage.

The home team’s goals were scored by Jayden Osterwolde (own wrist, 12 minutes into the game) and Edon Jegrova (46 minutes into the second half). Irfan Kahvaji reduced the score for the Turkish team (34 in the second half).
The return match between the teams will take place on Tuesday (13) at 14:00 (Brazilian time) at the Şükru Saraçoğlu Stadium, home of Fenerbahçe. To qualify for the fourth qualifying round of the Champions League, Mourinho’s team needs to win at least two goals in this match.
