AS Roma and AC Milan have won big in the Serie A on Sunday evening. With the Romans (0-4 victory at Salernitana), Rick Karsdorp played the entire match, with the Milanese (4-1 victory over Cagliari) Olivier Giroud excelled.

Jose Mourinho’s Roma had a difficult half with the defending PhD student, before Lorenzo Pellegrini broke the spell shortly after the break. Via Jordan Veretout, Tammy Abraham and again Pellegrini it eventually became 0-4. It was already the second victory for Roma, where right back Karsdorp was allowed to remain in place for the entire game from Mourinho.

Milan won easily at home thanks to a wonderful first half. After a free kick by Sandro Tonali, the equalizer by Alessandro Deola and the (lucky) 2-1 by Brahim Díaz, Giroud, who had come over from Chelsea, scored his first of the evening (see below). He also made his second, which he did from a penalty given after a handball from Kevin Strootman. That last goal in the 43rd minute turned out to be the last goal of the game.
