Jose Mourinho don’t think about breaking the record Massimiliano Allegri. The Portuguese coach just wanted to make AS Roma happy.
Mourinho this season as coach AS Roma. The Giallorossi are Mourinho’s second Italian club after Inter Milan.
The 58-year-old coach has a slick record during his work in the Italian Serie A League. Mourinho is unbeaten in 39 home games in Serie A, 38 with Inter and one with Roma.
If he can avoid defeat in the next three home games with AS Roma, Mourinho will break Allegri’s record. During his stint at Juventus, Allegri recorded 41 home matches in the Italian League without defeat and it became the longest record.
Roma will next host Sassuolo in the Italian League continued at the Stadio Olimpico, Monday (13/9/2021) early morning WIB. Mourinho apparently did not think about the record and wanted to make Roma happy.
“The most important thing remains the next game, and the next one and the next one, until the last one,” Mourinho told Portuguese news agency Lusa, quoted by Football Italia.
“I want to win games, take my players, the club and the fans with me. I want Roma to be happy and feel the feeling that you never know,” Mourinho insisted.
Roma had a great start to the season with Mourinho. He has gone through two official matches, all of which ended in 3-1 wins against Fiorentina and 4-0 over Salernitana.
