José Mourinho could make a third spell at the head of his heart club, Chelsea.
Roma coach José Mourinho is keen to return to England next season. And he may well find his former club Chelsea for a third experience at Stamford Bridge.
Mourinho offered his services to Boehly
The daily Daily Mail says in his edition of the day that Mourinho is eager to return to England. The Special One is frustrated with Roma’s lack of financial support and that’s why he wants a change of scenery.
A third stint with the Blues would be the ideal scenario in his eyes and his representatives have said he would be interested in any vacancies at Stamford Bridge. For now, the London club and its owner Todd Boehly have made it clear that they intend to keep Graham Potter on the bench. But, the deal can change if ever the results do not improve.
Mourinho’s wife and children still live in London and he has always preferred working in the Premier League rather than elsewhere. Besides Chelsea, he also coached Manchester United and Tottenham across the Channel.
The Portuguese technician, as a reminder, won the Europa Conference League in Rome last season and his Gialorossi are currently fifth in Serie A.
