With an open-air cinema, the Schneebergers kicked off the Bergkampftag weekend yesterday. The response from visitors was very good both in the afternoon when “The School of Magical Animals 2” was shown and in the evening when the film “Manta Manta (Part 1)” flickered across the screen.
Mountain parade on Saturday evening
The highlights of the mountain dispute day are tonight. This includes the big mountain parade. The march for the habit wearers and mountain musicians is at 6:15 p.m. in Schneeberg-Neustädtel on Marienstraße. From there we head towards the city center – this is followed by the traditional mountain service in St. Wolfgang Church at 7 p.m. and then visitors can experience the impressive final concert on the market square from 8.30 p.m., where all participating mountain musicians are involved. The musicians of the band “Berggeschrey” will end the event from 9 p.m.
