New columnist of Touche not at my post, Moundir delivered this Monday, September 4 a clear position on the ban on wearing the abaya at school.
This Monday, September 4 was the start of the school year for the talk shows Don’t touch my post, it’s up to you et Daily. After a wave of departures of several columnists (Matthieu Delormeau, Béatrice Rosen, Benjamin Castaldi), the return to school was placed under the sign of renewal. To compensate for these departures, Cyril Hanouna recruited several personalities such as Evelyne Thomas, Alex Goude, Jacques Cardouze or even Ninon Dechavanne, daughter of the famous animator, in his band. Another celebrity to join the TPMP team, a certain Moundir revealed in 2003 in Koh-Lanta. “I know behind the scenes, I know my personality and I know what I can bring to the show. (…) If our collaboration goes well and Cyril (Hanouna, editor’s note) wants to continue working with me, we will continue”said the former adventurer in an interview with TV Mag.
And the man with a strong temperament did not take long to shine on Monday evening. Among the topics covered this Monday evening in TPMP, the ban on wearing the abaya at school for the start of the school year. A recent decision taken by the Minister of National Education, Gabriel Attal, who assumes this decision, but expects that it will not be respected in certain establishments. “We cannot dither with secularism at school. I assume the decision that I have taken to say that the abaya and the qamis cannot be worn at school.“, assured the minister, invited this September 4 on RTL.
In Do not touch My TV, Moundir stepped up to provide his point of view. He did so in a new section called “BRI, Information Repression Brigade”, with Eric Naulleau and Yann Moix. “What I’m going to say here, I haven’t done it in twenty years, Cyril. If there are things that will bother you, the production or the channel, you can fire me”, launched from the outset the former host of Moundir And The Apprentice Adventurers on W9. And to develop his ideas:I am extremely proud to be French and all the more proud to be a Muslim and I try to be a good practitioner (…) If it was Islamic clothing, they would go to Islamic schools. She is wearing a pair of Stan Smiths, I don’t think the pair are Islamic either.
Moundir concluded: “After a while, France, my country, will have to make no mistakes in its history and in its values (…) Today, when school is going badly, we tell the children ‘you’re going home’, ‘you’re not going home’, schools are going to become nightclubs and orientation leaders are going to be bouncers.”
