According to a report by Inter Live , Jose Mourinho does not want the extreme of Inter Milan Ivan Perisic at Tottenham despite being a fan of the seasoned Croatian star.
José Mourinho has expressed his admiration for Perisic in the past and the winger was linked with a signing to Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer market after enjoying an impressive loan spell at Bayern Munich last season.
Perisic ended up staying at Inter Milan, but has not been able to secure a regular birth with Antonio Conte this season because he does not have a natural position within the Italian coach’s scheme.
FootballMarket reported last month that the Nerrazuri are looking to move the 32-year-old and that Spurs were among those vying for his signature, while Foot Market reported last week that North Londoners had started talks with Inter about the Croatian international, as we also reported on Fichajes.net
However, Inter Live has now ruled out the possibility of Perisic joining Spurs, as they suggest that Mourinho is not particularly interested in signing him.
They also suggest that the age of the winger has made the Tottenham hierarchy not seek a deal.
But, according to several English media, Tottenham is looking at other quality wingers to reinforce the team’s squad, which comes from drawing a goal at home against Fulham, in a game where they showed that they have many problems at the offensive level beyond what Heung-Min Son and Harry Kane can generate.
The attackers they are targeting are:
-Arkadiusz Milik from Napoli (a new variant for area reference)
-Daniel Podence del Wolverhampton
-Marcus Thuram del Borussia Mönchengladbach
