The latest news related to Diriyah’s second E-Prix was dominated by today’s essential news: Alex Lynn was released from hospital after his big crash at the end of the race.
Mitch Evans has spoken about the accident, which actually happened with him. The Jaguar rider was hit at high speed by Lynn’s Mahindra, in a different incident than the one that involved Max Günther and Tom Blomqvist ahead of them at the same turn.
The Mahindra rolled over on the back of the Jaguar and took off to land upside down and against the runway. From there, she slid down the loophole at full speed to hit TecPro’s barrier from behind.

Both activations are mandatory in the race, and he did not do so immediately when the Safety Car arrived on the track. Unfortunately, the race was then interrupted with the red flag, and he was unable to do so.
