This topic was written by Sultan Al-Qahtani – In October, Qualcomm introduced the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and issued an official list of brands that are scheduled to launch flagship phones featuring the new processor.
Motorola was noticeably absent from the list, and the brand has not yet confirmed its plans regarding the release of a phone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
In 2022, Motorola released multiple phones for China and other markets, but in 2023, the company released fewer products. Besides the recently unveiled Razr 40, Razr 40 Ultra and Moto G34 5G phones in China, the brand has been less active compared to previous years.
Today, Chen Jin, General Manager of Lenovo China Mobile Phone Business, took to Weibo to reveal the company’s plans for the Motorola product lineup in 2024 for China.
According to Chen Jin, the Moto Razr will be a huge success in China and the global market in 2023. However, while acknowledging that expectations for the Motorola brand go beyond the Razr lineup, details have been revealed about what to expect next year.
Chen added, acknowledging the anticipation for Moto’s new products and understanding that everyone is eager for continuous improvement and more exciting innovations.
On the product front, the new Razr is set to showcase a more impressive design and improved AI interaction.
The flagship imaging suite X will integrate new capabilities into large AI language models, while the S suite and G suite will undergo comprehensive improvements.
2024 is set to be the year the company unveils its full product range. We believe that the flagship phones from the X and S range may be rebranded as Edge-branded models in the global market.
