Motorola Moto G22 officially unveiled
The Motorola Moto G22 is – like most smartphones in the Moto G series – very affordable. The device is from March 21 available in the Netherlands and Belgium for 179 euro† The Moto G22 comes standard in a black color, but a blue and white version are also available via Motorola itself.
For the suggested retail price, the Moto G22 has plenty to offer. For example, the smartphone has a water-resistant housing and a total of five cameras. On the back we see a 50 megapixel main camera, 8 megapixel wide-angle lens, 2 megapixel macro camera and depth sensor. The main camera combines pixels, which should provide better photos in the dark.

It’s nice that the Motorola Moto G22 runs out of the box on Android 12† This Android version offers a lot of innovations, such as the cool Material You design. Some manufacturers still choose to use phones with the older Android 11 launch, such as OnePlus recently joined the North CE 2† Fortunately, this is not the case with the Moto G22.

Large screen and long battery life
Due to the large 5000 mAh battery, the Motorola phone should last a long time on a full battery. This is also due to the economical hardware and the HD screen (6.5 inches). Charging is done with a maximum of 10 Watts, so it takes a while before the battery is completely full. In this price range, we see enough smartphones that do offer a fast charging function.
5G internet is missing, although the new mobile network is of little use in the Netherlands at the moment. Under the hood is a MediaTek Helio G37 processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The latter is a bit scanty, but you can expand it with a micro-SD memory card. The budget phone also has a headphone jack, nfc chip, notification LED and fingerprint scanner.
As mentioned, the Motorola Moto G22 will be in the shops on March 21 for 179 euros. If you order the smartphone, you will receive a 128GB memory card as a gift to increase the storage.
