A new smartwatch from Motorola is in the proverbial starting blocks. The watch in question is the Moto Watch 100 about which we will now get more information.
Moto Watch 100 coming up
It looks like Motorola will be announcing a new smart watch soon. The smartwatch will be called the Moto Watch 100 and could be released by the end of this year. Like the last models, which were not released in the Netherlands, they are released under the name Motorola, but they are developed by the licensee CE Brands.
The Moto Watch 100 should have a premium feel, without a high price tag. It is not yet known whether the device runs on Wear OS. Thanks to information from the FCC inspection body, we know that the battery capacity is 355 mAh. The device will also be waterproof and we get a first look thanks to the photos below.
In addition to the Moto Watch 100, at least two other models will appear. There is talk about the Moto Watch 200 and the Moto Watch 100S. Specifications are not yet known, but one of these models will have a square dial. It is not yet possible to say whether these smartwatches will be sold in the Netherlands.
We also dived earlier this year multiple photos of new smartwatches from Motorola. Those have not yet been announced (for unknown reasons). The model that now appears to be called Moto Watch 100 was previously called Moto G Smartwatch.
