Motorola is preparing to launch the successor to the popular mid-range model called the Edge 30 Neo. It debuted in October last year and can currently be purchased in the Czech Republic for around 10,000 CZK. Coming Edge 40 Neo it is supposed to bring improvements as it should and according to current speculations it will retain a friendly price tag.
According to a Romanian portal Very mobile Motorola published the first trailer in that region, which is supposed to refer to the Edge 40 Neo, although it does not explicitly mention the name. It’s quite possible that the “make a splash” sign is trying to indicate water resistance. However, last year’s model also had IP52 degree of protection, i.e. protection against splashes, so it would be more complex protection (eg IP68) definitely welcome. The fact that the poster works mostly with blue probably means that the most promoted variant will be blue.

It is speculated that Motorola will get the Edge 40 Neo 5 000mAh batteries, which significantly improves compared to the 4,020mAh battery of its predecessor. He is also to receive a chip MediaTek Dimensity 1050 combined with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Similar to some flagship smartphones it should get display with 144Hz frequency (again an upgrade over the 120 Hz of the Edge 30 Neo), with a diagonal of 6.55 inches and pOLED panel technology. As for the cameras, the presence is expected 50 Mpx main sensor13 Mpx ultra wide-angle sensor and 32 Mpx selfie camera.
Motorola Edge 40 Neo is due out according to the trailer 14th September. It is discussed about the price is around 400 euros, i.e. 9,750 CZK in conversion.
