The Motorola Edge 40 Neo was presented, which will also be available in Hungary and comes with two years of Android and 3 years of security updates.
The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7030 with 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM or 256GB of storage and 12GB of RAM, and the graphics are handled by the Mali-G610 MC3 GPU.
The display is a 6.55-inch 144-hertz pOLED panel with HDR10+ support, a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a peak brightness of 1300 nits with 1 billion colors. The housing is thin, 7.76 mm thick, the edges are rounded, and the IP68 certification is given. The manufacturer is collaborating with Pantone to make the phone available in three special shades.
The main camera is 50 megapixels with f/1.8 aperture, the sensor is 1/2.5 inch, optically stabilized, with multi-directional PDAF autofocus. The ultra-wide camera is 13 megapixels, f/2.2 aperture, 120-degree viewing angle, PDFA autofocus. You can record video in maximum 4K at 30 FPS, and 240 FPS is also supported in 1080p.
The selfie camera has a 32-megapixel f/2.4 aperture, HDR support, but you can only record videos in 1080p at 30 FPS.
The battery is 5000 mAh, which can be charged with 68 watts, the required charging head is included in the box. The system is Android 13 by default, for which 2 years of Android and 3 years of security updates are promised. Wi-Fi 6E is supported, and the fingerprint reader is placed under the display.
Motorola also emphasized sustainability: the 100% plastic-free packaging made from 60% recycled materials was printed with soy ink. Each device comes with a protective case made exclusively from plant materials, which matches the color of the device with Pantone accuracy. The company that manufactures the protective case guarantees that it recycles all replaced cases.
The Moto Edge 40 Neo will be available at a price of HUF 154,990, in three colors: black, blue, green.
