The driver ran a red light at around 7:15pm, rammed another vehicle and eventually came to rest against a flat across a cycle lane and small green strip. Both vehicles sustained extensive damage. This had created a huge havoc at the intersection, with debris strewn everywhere.
Several emergency services were called to the scene of the accident. Injured a woman who was in the car hit.
The reckless driver was taken away by the police.
