A motorist hit the porch of an apartment building on Echternachlaan in Eindhoven at the end of the afternoon on Saturday. According to local residents, the driver then fled with squeaky tires.
It is not yet clear why the driver slammed into the doors. Local residents were startled by a hard blow and then saw the damage. That probably happened a little after four o’clock in the afternoon. Photos show that one of the doors is gone. There is also a large window on the floor.

Residents of the flat do not have to leave their apartments, but the rammed main entrance may not be used. They can enter and exit the building through a storage room.
The entrance is closed with red police tapes. The emergency service of housing corporation Wooninc is examining whether the porch needs to be propped up. Police are reviewing CCTV footage of the area surrounding the apartment.
