A motorist was killed on the Hustenweg in Maren-Kessel on Saturday morning around half past nine. The driver, a 34-year-old man from Oss, is said to have crashed into a tree along the road. The car then ended up in a ditch.
Several emergency services were called, but they could no longer do anything for the victim.
Engine block in pasture
The road was littered with debris after the collision. The engine block of the car was in a meadow, reports DTV News.
According to the police, no other traffic was involved in the accident. Police are investigating how the accident happened.
