Motorist ends up on the cycle path in Nijmegen: four injured

In Nijmegen, a motorist ended up on a cycle path in the late afternoon for unknown reasons. At least three cyclists and the driver himself were injured.

Second Gelderland broadcast the car went off the road and traveled tens of meters on the cycle path, after which it overturned. The four wounded are with wounded taken to hospital.

The broadcaster speaks of “havoc” at the scene of the accident. The car is badly damaged on its side. Two folded bicycles the wheels are against a wall. There is also damage to the road and a traffic light.

The road is closed due to police investigations. The police do not take deliberate action, the driver may have fallen ill.
