In New York, police arrested a man who drove his car into the home of US pop singer Taylor Swift. According to police, eyewitnesses observed a man who drove in the wrong direction on a street in the Tribeca district on the night of yesterday and crashed into Swift’s house. He then got out and tried unsuccessfully to gain access to the building.
The 31-year-old from the state of Virginia was taken to a hospital for examination, according to police. He is charged with drink driving. The police did not confirm reports of hostile remarks by the man about Swift.
Problems with Stalker several times
Swift, 32, has had multiple problems with intruders: Most recently, last April, police arrested a suspected stalker who tried to break into the pop star’s New York apartment. In July 2019, a man with burglary tools was arrested near the musician’s house in the state of Rhode Island.
In March 2019, a persistent stalker of the singer was arrested after a break-in at her New York apartment. The man had already broken into Swift’s house the year before.
