In 2023, there will be almost no new cars worth up to 1 million rubles left on the domestic market. But soon Chinese and Iranian cars will occupy the vacant niche. This was reported on the website of the publication Pravda.RU.

According to Avtodom Group Communications Director Anna Utkina, sales of the new Kaiyi E5 sedan will begin early next year.
As the expert explained, at present Russian citizens can pay attention to European and Korean used cars imported under the parallel import scheme. They are in good technical condition, and the cost of such cars is up to 1.5 million rubles. The most reliable sedans are Skoda Octavia and Kia Cerato.
Anna Utkina noted that new Iranian sedans Iran Khodro Tara will appear on the domestic market in 2024, and sales of the Chinese model Omoda S5 will begin at the end of 2023.
