Motorcyclist transported to hospital with serious injuries

The South-East police district reported the accident on Twitter at 15.41.

At 16.35, the police inform that the driver has been transported by air ambulance with serious injuries.

The motorcyclist must have driven out of the road.

– The accident happened on the old E-18. We do not know why the driver drove off the road, says operations manager in the South-East police district, Anne Meier.

There is a queue on the E-18, but according to Meier the queue is not a result of the accident.

– It can be a bit difficult to get past the accident site itself, but or it does not have the biggest consequences.
