According to Møre og Romsdal police district, the driver of the motorcycle was seriously injured and the air ambulance arrived on the scene.
The police were notified of the accident at 00.39.
– The emergency services arrived quickly and the air ambulance landed a little over one o’clock, says operations manager Per Åge Ferstad in Møre og Romsdal police district to NTB.
Both the driver of the car and the driver of the motorcycle are men.
The accident happened in Sjøgata in the center of Ulsteinvik.
– The road is closed at the accident site and the police forensic technicians and the accident group of the Norwegian Public Roads Administration are on their way, says Ferstad.
At 1.47, the police inform on Twitter that the air ambulance has taken off and is transporting the motorcycle driver to St. Olav’s hospital in Trondheim.
