A missing North Carolina teenager has been rescued by a motorcyclist and Kentucky police after making a secret signal to show she was in trouble. The girl learned the hand gesture from the TikTok social network.
The 16-year-old girl from Asheville was reported missing by her parents.

A few days later, a motorcyclist in Kentucky called 911 with a signal that he saw a young girl in the back seat of a car, who was visibly stressed.

The special gesture is made with one hand – the palm opens against the one looking at you, then the thumb goes inside and clenched into a fist. The gesture means you are trapped.

The motorcyclist continued to drive after the car for several kilometers, meanwhile giving directions to the police where to find them. Eventually, the car was stopped by a patrol, which rescued the girl and arrested the perpetrator.
