A motorcyclist from the Baden district in Lower Austria died in a fatal accident in Styria on Friday evening.
According to the police, the 58-year-old drove at around 7:30 p.m. on the B146, coming from the direction of Admont in the direction of Hieflau. For reasons that have not yet been clarified, he lost control of his vehicle in a slightly sloping right-hand bend and ended up in the oncoming lane. There he crashed into an oncoming bus.
Driver fell under the bus
As a result, the driver and his motorcycle got under the bus. Despite first aid and other resuscitation measures carried out, the 58-year-old succumbed to his injuries on the spot. The 47-year-old bus driver was unharmed, as were the few passengers on the bus.
